About Me
Research, Teaching, Science Communication
Hello! My name is Brandon Corder and I'm a recent Botany PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I am an educator and researcher with a deep interest in bringing the hidden facets of diversity in the botanical world to a wider audience. In my research, I focus on the evolution of parasitism in orchids, incorporating molecular phylogenetics, stable isotope analyses, and fungal barcoding with collections-based and field research. I am also interested in understanding the diversity of other life, particularly of mosses and other bryophytes, algae, and plants of North America.
Below, you will find some of my recent publications, presentations, teaching, and science communication. I am eager to collaborate and build connections of all kinds! For inquiries, please write bcorder@wisc.edu.
